It seems people are a little slow getting up and going so I decided to jump in BOTH feet and give a shout out from New York.

Thankfully I'm not right in NYC where covid has hit the hardest, but it has affected us just the same.

State requirement go for the whole state. So, areas that didn't need to be shutdown, got shutdown. Not happy campers I tell you!
I'm a local journalist. I've been a journalist for about 7 years now.

There are parts of the job I like very much and other parts, not so much. Breaking news, weather, events, pressers. These are just a few things I cover.

I'm a mom, stay active, a person with a rare condition. I give tinnitus and hyperacusus support, advocate for student walkers/sidewalk safety, member of the neighborhood watch, photographer, And certified in a number of areas.

I love to cook, try new foods. So definitely send me a friend request. I love learning about other cultures.

I do stay quite busy, I have some time on my hands today so I popped back in. I deal with a lot of daily pressers right now and cover weather for the most part this year with all the events shutdown. But that will be changing starting next month and I'll be happy to get back to the best part of the job.
